PTEs / PTAs / ITAs
editArgh! Got a bit confused with this article due to its previous edits! I have re-instated some sections and moved a few things about. Just to clarify:
- Passenger Transport Executives - these are still in place, the Tyne and Wear PTE is known as 'Nexus'.
- Integrated Transport Authorities - these have replaced the pre-2008 Passenger Transport Authorities.
I think that this article may need a little looking into as I feel there have been a few sprinkles of 'ITAs' where they used to read 'PTEs'. I shall consult the Nexus / ITA website to clarify. BNC85 (talk) 09:36, 26 February 2010 (UTC)

Tyne and Wear Passenger Transport Executive → Nexus (transport executive) – I don't think I have ever heard the full name before. For example this page about the new trains doesn't display the current articles name. WP:CONCISE also applies. Not sure on what the disambiguator could be, but I think its correct. - Rename to Nexus (transport executive) and I'm happy with the move and for the reasons that you gave. I'm saying executive because it is both the executive and the operator for the Metro and ferry, but it is the executive only for bus services making it more executive than operator overall.
