– I note the discussion at Talk:Third Amendment of the Constitution Bill, 1958 (Ireland) on the use of the (Ireland) modifier to potentially disambiguate from other countries' constitutions. However, now that the current practice is for the Oireachtas themselves when drafting constitutional amendments to include explanations or modifiers in the title of the bills themselves. In that case then, better to use them, as Wikipedia currently does for Thirty-fifth Amendment of the Constitution (Age of Eligibility for Election to the Office of President) Bill 2015. Amendments proposed next year and beyond are likely to continue this format, and it would be good for Wikipedia to reflect this. Iveagh Gardens (talk) 14:38, 19 December 2017 (UTC)Reply

  • Oppose unnecessary verbosity. Fails the Naturalness and Conciseness tests in WP:NAMINGCRITERIA, without adding any Precision. --BrownHairedGirl (talk) • (contribs) 01:19, 24 December 2017 (UTC)Reply
  • Oppose - per BrownHairedGirl's reasons and also I think it's enough to have the full title of the bill in the opening paragraph of the article. Spleodrach (talk) 12:40, 24 December 2017 (UTC)Reply
