Talk:Tujia people

"Today there are at most 70 thousand speakers of the Tujia language, all of whom live in the northern part of Xiangxi Tujia and Miao Autonomous Prefecture in north-western Hunan Province." This doesn't agree with the Enshi Tujia and Miao Autonomous Prefecture in Hubei. Is someone just making drastic assumptions?--146.7.86.6 16:23, 17 November 2005 (UTC)Reply

Tonal? edit

Is it a tonal language? Badagnani 02:43, 22 April 2007 (UTC)Reply

Yes, there are four tones with tone contours: 55, 53, 35 and 21. This is the same in both the Northern and Southern dialects. --72.75.55.29 05:00, 9 September 2007 (UTC)Reply

Possible Tuija script discovered? edit

You might like to consider including some material from the following article (recently noted by http://www.ancientscripts.com): http://en.epochtimes.com/news/8-2-24/66522.html

I imagine there may be further Chinese-language follow-ups to this, inaccessible to a monoglot round-eyes like myself ;-).87.81.230.195 (talk) 06:37, 1 May 2008 (UTC)Reply

Sources provided by those extremists are not neutral. Stay away from them! --92.74.64.34 (talk) 20:40, 18 September 2017 (UTC)Reply
