Sentences edit

Kostov pleaded "not Guilty" and was executed. The other defendants in the same trial pleaded "guilty " and were given prison sentences. This encouraged "guilty" pleas in later trials.

In The First Circle, Aleksander Solzhenitsyn describes Traicho as having been beaten to death in conjunction with Stalin's 70th birthday. Should this be included in the article? Eye.earth (talk) 05:22, 13 September 2009 (UTC)Reply
