WikiProject Middle-earth (Rated Stub-class, Low-importance)

This article is within the scope of WikiProject Middle-earth, which aims to build an encyclopedic guide to J. R. R. Tolkien, his legendarium, and related topics. Please visit the project talk page for suggestions and ideas on how you can improve this and other articles.

Note: Though it states in the Guide to writing better articles that generally fictional articles should be written in present tense, all Tolkien legendarium-related articles that cover in-universe material before the current action must be written in past tense. Links in this articleEdit

I have been judicious in linking terms in TS contents in this article. In general, I have linked authors for whom there are (or in the case of Richard C. West, ought to be!) individual articles in Wikipedia, and non-Tolkien terms (Beowulf, Sir Orfeo, Lord Dunsany).

I'm not sure of the value of linking to Frodo, Beren, etc., and so have not done so, but I will defer to those with more experience on the norms of this project which I have just joined. - PKM 20:38, 21 January 2007 (UTC)

I've added "in English" in the first §, since in French, for instance, La Feuille de la compagnie was published as soon as 2001; the 2nd issue in 2003; the 3rd is to be published any day. —Preceding unsigned comment added by (talk) 15:56, 8 January 2010 (UTC)

Had a fun time getting the infobox and ME Portal template to co-exist happily. Hope the results are in keeping wth project standards. - PKM 20:49, 21 January 2007 (UTC)

I'm ambivalent about the ME-portal link. It is a good link to have, but I have never found anywhere suitable to place it. I normally put it in the 'See also' section if there is one. If there isn't a see also section, then in the external links. Basically somewhere down the bottom. Let people read the article first, before they follow category or portal links. Excellent, moved to "references". - PKM 23:23, 30 January 2007 (UTC)
