NO! edit

The reason it has been split is that the Battle of Arsal was a turning point. Jihadis have been trying to openly invade Lebanon twice now, and the Lebanese Army is involved.Ericl (talk) 12:19, 9 October 2014 (UTC)Reply

The page should not be merged because it's already too long to read. — Preceding unsigned comment added by EliasMartinM (talkcontribs) 17:46, 10 October 2014 (UTC)Reply

Merge edit

There's no real reason for a content fork, as long as it says in the article that such and such point was a turning point in terms of the Lebanese army's involvement. I think it should be merged to a new article titled Timeline of violent events relating to the Syrian Civil War spillover in Lebanon (2011–Present).
