- Lower case for mpox: I see no reason to specify the continent unless there are similar articles for other continents. The year used depends on when the epidemic, as such, started. SchreiberBike | ⌨ 22:56, 18 August 2024 (UTC)
- Comment: Is this the same outbreak as the 2022–2023 mpox outbreak? Note that the African mpox epidemic article is being proposed to be moved to 2024 mpox epidemic, not 2023 mpox epidemic (or 2023 Mpox epidemic). — BarrelProof (talk) 01:05, 19 August 2024 (UTC)
