Tigray → Tigray (disambiguation) – Tigray Region is very clearly the WP:MAINTOPIC here; nearly every reliable source I've seen uses "Tigray" as a shorthand for the Tigray Region. I also propose that "Tigray" be turned into a redirect to "Tigray Region" if the move is successful. XTheBedrockX (talk) 17:16, 30 September 2023 (UTC)

- https://wikinav.toolforge.org/?language=en&title=Tigray indicates a pattern of use that does seem to match demonymic use - the locations get most of the reader interest but it's still apparently ambiguous with the people. --Joy (talk) 07:29, 1 October 2023 (UTC)
