Technical what?

Perhaps I'm being blind but I can't tell what the problem with "Throwdown" as a title for this article is. The band's website seems to show "Throwdown" and the note at the top says "Throwdown". If no one has any objections, I'm going to remove the notice?--TheGrza 03:46, 27 October 2005 (UTC)

Thats the most ridiculous thing I've ever read. No they aren't Christian, but they don't have symbols of satan, nore do they have demons on the covers of they're albums...They have a rosary on the cover of Vendetta...

Metalcore?

Most of their work was hardcore, and recently they are becoming more groove metal, or so I thought. Definitely doesn't sound like metalcore, but I'm going by their 3 latest albums.86.46.198.198 (talk) 15:04, 6 February 2009 (UTC)

How were they ever a hardcore punk band? Sure, some riffs here and there were hardcore riffs, but most early Throwdown was a mix of nu-metal and crossover with raspy metal vocals. Now, don't get me wrong, I'm not saying they weren't part of the hardcore scene, because they certainly were, but they were never a hardcore punk band. 69.254.1.61 (talk) 12:55, 28 August 2009 (UTC)

Music Might seems like a more valid source than that Allmusic page, which lists Haymaker's genre as 'pop-rock'. Freikorp (talk) 09:48, 29 August 2009 (UTC)
