The wiki page for Louis Gauffier includes the finished "Portrait of Dr Penrose" in exactly the same pose, dated 1798, with the following description: "At the time of this portrait, Dr. Penrose was secretary to the English envoy to the Duke of Tuscany. He is seated on an upper terrace of the Boboli gardens above Florence, holding a sketchbook and a portcrayon." This portrait would seem therefore not to be that of the poet. I suggest it be removed from this page. — Preceding unsigned comment added by Tencourt (talkcontribs) 12:32, 21 January 2018 (UTC)Reply
