Info box edit

  • Mick Hansen should be linked

Lead edit

  • Link singer-songwriter
  • Put (2011) after The Sea
  • Write each individual songwriter, then say who produced the song
  • The track → "Think About It"
  • was released after the single "Rock Me" → You just said that that Think About It was the first single?
  • , prior to the release Melanie had spent time on the West-End Blood Brothers which she said helped her develop and evolve as an artist. → This should be a new sentence.
  • The song is a dance-pop song → Musically, "Think About It" draws influence from dance-pop
  • Link dance-pop
  • Melanie → Melanie C
  • a departure from the usual rock-stance Melanie had taken in her career since 1999 it gathered comparisons to artists; → Awful construction
  • lyrically the song discusses doing something that you know you shouldn't. → Should be a new sentence here
  • Critically the song gathered near acclaim, → Makes no sense at all
  • than the previous → previous what?
  • to her fifth studio album The Sea → We already know it's her fifth studio album
  • Commercially the song was a moderate hit → Reword
  • A music video directed Howard Greenhalgh showed her perform against different backdrops and in different outfits throughout. → Again, poor wording

General points edit

There are numerous issues in the other sections, poor phrasing and grammar (For example: A music video for "Think About It" was released, directed by Howard Greenhalgh, her official website described it saying it "provides the song with a varied canvas – bursts of vivid colour and imagery – that's if you can try and take your eyes off Melanie in a selection of stunning outfits!") Pictures have poor captions. One of the references has a double quotation mark in it, plus there are wrong/missing work and publisher parameters. Also cases of WP:OR in the article. A Credits and personnel section should also be added. Sorry, but I am failing as the article is under prepared with basic mistakes which should not be here. I think this article could become a GA, but it needs to be thoroughly copy edited. I suggest you list for a Peer Review or request a GOCE. Calvin Watch n' Learn 01:16, 3 December 2011 (UTC)Reply
