Episodes moved to another article

The main article was turning into just a list of episodes. Since this is an ongoing TV series, I think this main article should be more about the show function, synopsis, structure, and other things instead of just listing the episodes. I just copied and pasted the episode list into another article, so let's try and expand on what the show is actually ABOUT for the main article. I've "reverted" this split, since there just wasn't enough content to justify the creation of a "List of" spinout in this case. If there is ever any significant coverage of the individual seasons, then a split could certainly be accomplished again. Since The Universe is not plot driven at all, I don't think that any significant coverage of individual seasons is likely, however. It should be much easier to maintain this way regardless, so this isn't a purely opinion move on my part. There was no content duplicated in the list of article anyway, and therefore nothing was actually lost or really changed in the merge.

Show Criticisms section needed?

Are there any professional reviews of the show? While I enjoyed it at first, I've noticed the show is getting increasingly sloppy in both its visual aides and fact checking. Recently, they've started using CGI footage that isn't a representation of the topic being discussed. I also noticed in the Cosmic Collisions episode, they state that dinosaur bones are not found below the K-T Boundary, which is precisely the opposite of the facts. I've noticed this as well. In the Episode in Season 2 on Moons there were a number of obvious factual errors. They stated that the surface of Europa is -550 F. That's 90 degrees below absolute zero. Also in the discussion of Europa's "crop circle" formations they stated that they were 2000-3000 miles in diameter. I am in support of a criticism section. I have only seen a few off episodes, but they seem pretty low quality. The one on string theory and multiple universes is particularly bad. It makes wild claims about the nature of the universe without providing any historical background or motivation for anything. Instead, the interviewees simply wave their hands, talking about parallel worlds and curled up dimensions. I second this. I have a little trouble with the American-centric approach. If you were to believe The History channel than the entire exploration of The Universe was done by the NASA, by Americans, using technology from the USA. There's occasionally a reference to the Russians and, if lucky, to the Europeans. The Chinese have been on the show as those who blew up a satellite and thus caused more space debris than ever before. No word on the gigantic and world's most active spaceport: the European space port in Kourou, French-Guyana. Despite the fact that there are obvious errors in the show, there needs to be a reliable third party source that provides valid criticism or speaks about such valid criticisms. Just because we see errors doesn't mean it's notable criticisms. Though I disagree with the last problem, The History-Channel isn't really all that America-centric, especially in The Universe. They've just touched on it more because, well, it is an American channel. And they never said China caused the space debris, they actually blamed the US while stating that China had indeed blown up a sat. of theirs. The criticism is probably well placed in the article about History Channel itself, this series is just yet another of History Channel's many lowest-quality desinfotainment program desasters. I wouldn't go quite that far... it's not top-quality, and I keep wanting to hate it, but it does cover legitimate topics that I haven't seen covered in higher-quality series on the same subjects. But then it also wallows in destruction paranoia and delights in discussing the improbable. So, I'm sort of neutral about it overall. I think this show has its place, or at least the first few seasons do. But I do think a criticisms section is required here, where it will be seen by people searching for this subject. The 8th season is airing already, but there's no information in the article regarding this. Season 6 and 7 listing should be collapsed into season 6

I've recently purchased the series as a boxed set of seasons 1-5, with season 6 as an additional offering. This season 6 contains all of the episodes listed as seasons 6 and 7. This makes season 5 as a sort of runt, with only a few seasons, with all others having episodes before and after the new year.

We list the episodes as they were aired, and they were aired as seasons 6 & 7.[2][3] That they've been combined for DVD release is worth mentioning, but it doesn't change the episode lists. 8th and 9th Seasons are bogus

Earth like planets on other solar systems/ where are we from?
