Talk:The Thief Lord

I have just formatted a little of the page. It appears to me that the standard of writing is rather low, so requires a bit cleanup to meet Wikipedia's standings. I have just edited the passage about Scipio, because, with all due respect to the original writer, it looked to me as if he/she was sharing his/her own views, rather than giving us facts about the character. I will soon be making more changes to the article, for I like the book very much, and would like it to have a good standard on Wikipedia. Can anyone tell me whether what I'm doing is right or wrong? I'm a new user, which means Ive not seen Wikipedia very much...

By the way, when I first clicked the talk page, it showed inexplicable 'iiiiiiiiiiiBBBBBBBBcccccccDSDhiiiiii!' which I have deleted. I was rather shocked. Who could have written that?

The Latin name Scipio is pronounced with a hard 'c', thus "Skip-pee-oh", as it is pronounced in the film. Arakhor (talk) 21:44, 15 July 2009 (UTC)Reply

The book never mentions anything about Prosper having dark hair or blue eyes. —Preceding unsigned comment added by 173.52.177.213 (talk) 02:23, 5 September 2009 (UTC)Reply

Someone needs to change this article, it seems that somebody messed up the entire thing and replaced it with "hahahahahahahahahahahahahhaha" i would really like this article to be made so could someone please fix that?

Cantonese???? edit

I am not sure if I've got it right, because I am not a native speaker, but does the box say the book is from Hongkong and the original language is Cantonese? It is definitly wrong, the original book is written in German. It would be nice if someone from the English Wikipedia could change it. Ganida (talk) 10:09, 6 April 2010 (UTC)Reply

its missing a setting too

The setting is truly unclear, only Venice. Based on the events that are not happening, I would say Post World War II. Perhaps 1960 ish? As for the description of Prosper, page 10 describes him as dark haired and possibly supporting of his younger brother Bo who has blond hair.

It was originally published in German.

Incorrect age edit

The article says that Bo was five years old and Ernesto Barbarossa was turned into a seven year old. Later in the article it’s said that Barbarossa was stuck a little younger than Bo. The third statement contradicts the first and second statements. — Preceding unsigned comment added by 92.109.97.192 (talk) 21:10, 4 March 2020 (UTC)Reply
