Another band
editThere's another band called the shivers, released an album called "Charades" in 2004 self-produced and mixed with Brian Factor, mastered by Alex Saltz at APS Mastering, NYC. They reference the side www.whiskeyandapples.com on the rear flap of their album insert (although I found nothing about them on that site). I've got the track listing, but not all of the tracks are named. I don't even know if it's worth posting, but I thought I should mention it.— Preceding unsigned comment added by Beyond My Ken (talk • contribs)
- If there is more than one band that meets Wikipedia:Notability (music), then each such band should have its own article, with appropriate disambiguation in the titles. Which band, if any, could keep the plain title ("The Shivers") would be subject to discussion. -- Donald Albury 02:27, 18 January 2012 (UTC)

- The page history here can be slightly confusing — someone overwrote the article with text about the New York band; Beyond My Ken copied it (with proper attribution) to the current title; I split the edits about the New York band from here to its own page (they're now the earlier edits in that page's history, behind BMK's edits), and finally restored the edits here. That's why this edit appears to do nothing at all — when it was made, the diff looked like this. Nyttend (talk) 05:27, 19 January 2012 (UTC)
- Should I now delete the "copied" template from both articles, since it's redundant? Beyond My Ken (talk) 06:15, 19 January 2012 (UTC)
- See WP:MCQ, where I've asked this very question. Nyttend (talk) 06:23, 19 January 2012 (UTC)
- Excellent. My feeling is that the templates are probably not needed anymore, but I'll go with whatever the consensus is. When you get an answer, feel free to act without consulting me. Beyond My Ken (talk) 07:02, 19 January 2012 (UTC)
- Yeah, correct: the templates aren't needed any longer since the history is repaired by the history split and merge and thus I removed the two templates. Regards, mabdul 13:57, 21 January 2012 (UTC)
