Correct band name is The New Power Generation

edit

The New Power Generation are nearly always credited on their records as The New Power Generation.

I've checked the following singles and albums and their credited name appears as;

  • "Count the Days" - The New Power Generation
  • "Get Wild" - The New Power Generation
  • "The Good Life" - The New Power Generation
  • "Come On" - The NPG
  • Newpower Soul - the New Power Generation
  • 1-800-NEW-FUNK - The N.P.G.

So even when they are just the NPG, it's the The NPG.

I'm going to change the article to The New Power Generation. Markfury3000 (talk) 10:42, 14 September 2009 (UTC)Reply

"This has depressed many people"

edit

I removed that phrase: "This has depressed many people." I don't know if it's true or not, but I followed the link, and didn't understand how it supported the sentence (i.e. I didn't see depressed people). Someone who can better explain that can restore it. dfrankow (talk) 14:23, 24 June 2011 (UTC)Reply

The New Power GenerationNew Power GenerationWP:THE, MOS:TM. Reliable sources routinely refer to NPG as "New Power Generation" or "the New Power Generation", not capital-T "The New Power Generation". Wikipedia does not care how their marketing stylized things, and we do not mimic trademarks, logos, or covers.  — AReaderOutThatawayt/c 03:58, 13 September 2019 (UTC)Reply

Why was she not included on here? And should she be under present or past members? Cbdrolex (talk) 12:52, 30 July 2020 (UTC)Reply
