– Given the release of the TV series, the primary topic of the name is the series as a whole instead of the first book. Elli (talk | contribs) 17:14, 24 July 2021 (UTC)Reply

Alternate proposal: move the book to The Mysterious Benedict Society (book) and make The Mysterious Benedict Society a disambiguation page. I think all three pages (the series, the book, and the TV series) are primary topics, and I wouldn't know which one to expect when I clicked on a link to "The Mysterious Benedict Society." @Aerin17: usually the appropriate thing here would be a WP:CONCEPTDAB, and that would be the franchise's article. The reason being that these aren't different things that happen to have the same name - they're all parts of essentially the same topic. Elli (talk | contribs) 06:07, 1 August 2021 (UTC)Reply
Thank you for mentioning that page, I didn't know that existed! In that case I would definitely support the move. Aerin17 (talk) 15:53, 1 August 2021 (UTC)Reply
  • Support as we tend to prefer to put summaries of whole franchises at primary to act as a WP:CONCEPTDAB (see WP:NCTV#Media franchise). The intro of this page will need to be reworded a bit to make clear the article covers more than just the book series. -- Netoholic @ 04:05, 25 July 2021 (UTC)Reply
  • Support (series) should never be used as a dab in any case. In ictu oculi (talk) 15:36, 10 August 2021 (UTC)Reply
