This entire article needs to be rewritten. It's filled with typos, verb-agreement issues and factual errors.

Ir's coming back on Toon Disney's Jetix on Tuesday.....in 2 days!!!!!!

CAN SOMEONE PLEASE ADD SOME PICTURES?!?!

This whole section: Efforts to make it consistent with real-world features were almost non existent as, for example, Lake Titicaca is described as both puma-head shaped and as being found below the ruins of Macchu Picchu (Episode: The Cloud People), as if this were not enough it displays bias in favour to what is known as "the American way" and utter ignorance of ancient Egyptians' racial features (the protagonists' mother, a red-haired woman, is said to be the vivid reincarnation of an Egyptian empress, which is depicted as red-haired herself). Finally the main antagonists is better labeled a "lich" than a mummy, unlike Anck Su Namun (who is a better representation of what is typically understood to be a mummy) which is seen through the series (In "Old Friends" to say the least).

is blatantly POV and not entirely accurate (many egyptians did have red hair, including several pharaohs). Things such as the lich/mummy quibble seem pedantic at best and not relevant to the article. "Bias in favour to what is known as 'the American way'" can only be seen subjectively. I'm removing the section.

Continuity

edit

Does this film have any continuity with the films or are they two separate timelines? Emperor001 (talk) 13:19, 16 May 2008 (UTC)Reply

  • After Tomb of the Dragon Emperor, I think that it's now safe to say that it exists in a separate timeline to the film series, as Rrick O'Connell claims to have defeated Imhotep 'twice' in the third film. Ii must confess, until that film, I thought that they shared continuity as well, based on the recurring theme of Rick's tattoo making him a 'medjaih', and that Ii think if memory serves, (though it's been many years since I watched an episode) that this was referenced with the history of Rick's father in the series. Ergo, I think that until Tomb of The Dragon Emperor screwed the continuity up that they were supposed to have been set in the same universe, but now must be viewed as separate — Preceding unsigned comment added by Ohdear15 (talkcontribs) 14:00, 7 November 2013 (UTC)Reply

Storyline

edit

Where did this storyline come from? It seems to be fan-made and not true to the show. User:Jet556 —Preceding undated comment added 01:27, 17 May 2009 (UTC).Reply

The Mummy: The Animated SeriesThe Mummy (TV series) – The title card of the show is The Mummy, based of the opening intro from the show itself. 115.135.14.37 (talk) 22:48, 23 February 2018 (UTC).Reply

  • Oppose Per WP:SUBTITLE. The show seems to have the subtitle in various places upon a search, where it is currently being aired.ZXCVBNM (TALK) 11:20, 26 February 2018 (UTC)Reply
  • The show does only used three subtitles the first was The Animated Series, second is Quest for the Lost Scolls (season 1 dvd) and third was Secrets for the Medjai (season 2 intro). For this case, just simply called as The Mummy, the real title itself and without The Animated Series part at the end of the intro. 115.132.163.51 00:52, 27 February 2018 (UTC)Reply
  • Oppose I was holding off to see if any clearer evidence would be given for this. Currently, both references of this article use the subtitle, and that's preferable for disambiguation purposes. -- Netoholic @ 00:45, 1 March 2018 (UTC)Reply
