In all the description, I find no mention of Aunty Bun, the rabbit. I began listening to the ABC Children’s Hour in 1962, and continued till it closed in about 1970-71. At no time during this period was there ever a character in the radio version called Tabby Cat. The 3rd character was Aunty Bun. The show was introduced as "Mouse, Aunty Bun and the Muddle-headed Wombat". The first I ever heard of Tabby Cat was when I acquired a book. Surely that merits inclusion in the article! Palomon 11 here. I quite clearly recall 'Tabby Cat' as played by John Appleton (whom I interviewed some years later). The radio scripts were not the same as the books, which came later. Appleton used the same voice for 'Smocka' another series in the Children's Hour, about a cat and his comical adventures.
