Disney Animation Australia

edit

It should have been added to Disney Animation Australia because it was animated there. — Preceding unsigned comment added by 2601:18D:4701:C4A0:29AA:11DF:F769:4D27 (talk) 14:27, 30 September 2018 (UTC)Reply

I know this page isn't actually protected anymore, but File:The Little Mermaid 2 Poster.jpg still exists, but when I tried adding it back, the edit filter blocked my edits. I don't know why, but I think that the image in question should be restored. Help? 104.58.147.208 (talk) 02:25, 29 June 2018 (UTC)Reply

Tara Charendoff

edit

Tara Strong is the name of the actor who voiced Melody. It was her name while she was married and it remains who professional name now she is divorced, as per her IMDb page and professional credits post-divorce. Kmt4536 (talk) 17:39, 23 December 2023 (UTC)Reply

Not at the time the movie was made. Even if her last name is now Strong, it doesn't mean we should replace her original last name. FilmandTVFan28 (talk) 18:11, 23 December 2023 (UTC)Reply
Please refer to WP:NCP, where there are examples of other public figures who are known as names other than that with which they were born. For example, Lana Del Rey, Lady Gaga, Elliot Page and Miley Cyrus. The naming convention is for all people to be referred to by their current names in any page that they are mentioned in, which is reflected in all older works of the aforementioned celebrities in which they were credited by their birth names. This is also reflected in pages for Tara Strong's other works pre-marriage. Kmt4536 (talk) 23:29, 3 February 2024 (UTC)Reply
One of the relevant guidelines at Wikipedia:Manual of Style/Film#Cast states "All names should be referred to as credited, or by common name supported by a reliable source." In this case, Tara Strong is billed here as Tara Charendoff. Lord Sjones23 (talk - contributions) Lord Sjones23 (talk - contributions) 23:34, 3 February 2024 (UTC)Reply
