I can find no source that supports a release date of 1974. The two links provided, IMDb and AllRovi, both say 1975. Also, several other gratuitous changes have been made without explanation. Please explain them now. Elizium23 (talk) 18:37, 12 October 2011 (UTC)Reply

The Ghoul (1974 film) → The Ghoul (1975 film) – A user moved this page from the suggested target in an effort to rewrite the facts about the film from having been produced in 1975 to 1974. However, the available sources list 1975 as the release date. Reverting this page-move vandalism will require administrator's intervention to delete the redirect created when the move was performed. Support because the film was released in 1975. However, there is some basis in calling it a 1974 film. In Google Books Search, this and this mention The Ghoul as a 1974 film. However, the British Film Institute's Film Index International reports this information: "Year: 1974; Release: 1975; Copyright: 1974; Production: 4/03/1974". Per WP:NCF, we disambiguate by the year of the film's release. The page move is not vandalism, and we should assume good faith about such page moves.
