Image copyright problem with File:Fitzlogo.jpg edit

The image File:Fitzlogo.jpg is used in this article under a claim of fair use, but it does not have an adequate explanation for why it meets the requirements for such images when used here. In particular, for each page the image is used on, it must have an explanation linking to that page which explains why it needs to be used on that page. Please check

  • That there is a non-free use rationale on the image's description page for the use in this article.
  • That this article is linked to from the image description page.

Copyedited edit

I have commented out the image associated with the section on the Star Trek experience since it seemed to mess up the layout of the References section following. Feel free to put it back if you want (just remove the comment marks either side of it in the mark-up), especially if you can find a little more text for that section, so the top of the References doesn't try to wrap around it. Hope my alterations are OK. Richard asr (talk) 13:14, 6 August 2010 (UTC)Reply

The name edit

Is the new name The D, The D Las Vegas, The D Las Vegas Casino Hotel or D Las Vegas Casino Hotel? Vegaswikian (talk) 00:19, 18 March 2012 (UTC)Reply

I just received an invitation to a tournament from them. The new name, copyright 2012, is: the D Las Vegas. Please note "the" is lowercase.

also regarding the name... it may officially be the owner Derek's initial, and that they are from Detroit, and that it's downtown... but the phrase "the D" has another well known meaning that I must consider the owners knew very well would be interpreted by many visitors. 50.34.172.102 (talk) 06:55, 17 September 2022 (UTC)Reply

Moe Dalitz edit

While it's not incorrect to say that Dalitz had ties to Chicago, so did mobsters from Kansas City until Carl DeLuna's written records broke the relationship. I don't have the definitive biography to quote chapter and verse, but Dalitz's blue collar criminal career was centered in Cleveland, as his article states. So to include his limited association with The Outfit in this context is misleading. Tapered (talk) 01:36, 26 February 2017 (UTC)Reply
