Winners List edit

For completeness, the winners list should include the FIFA Ballon d'Or recipients in 2010-2015 and FIFA World Player of the Year recipients in 1991-2009. --Gaga.vaa (talk) 09:43, 10 January 2017 (UTC)Reply

or merge this article with FIFA World Player of the Year, like FIFA World Coach of the Year.--Gaga.vaa (talk) 09:48, 10 January 2017 (UTC)Reply
Well, I came here to make the point that this request above has been complied with, and I disagree with it. The information on the winners list here needlessly and exactly repeats what is in the FIFA World Player of the Year and FIFA Ballon d'Or articles. IMO the articles should be kept separate but do not need to replicate each other's information. A note could be placed in the table against players who also won previous versions of the competition (and, IMO, the separate Ballon d'Or competition) to show they received multiple accolades.
