Idea for new section - History
editHave this idea, that I want to share with other editors to see what their opinions will be for it - how about the inclusion of a History section for the programme, detailing its origins, and its eventual creation to what it became when it first was broadcast on British TV? Some of this section would include the moving of information about its origins from the Lead, and any other information that could flush it out could be found from some research, but overall, I think it would be nice to know this. What do others think? GUtt01 (talk) 23:05, 23 February 2018 (UTC)
- I would support it as long as it is sourced and not OR. --Emir of Wikipedia (talk) 23:08, 23 February 2018 (UTC)
- Well, like I said above, some of the Lead does feature information about the show's origin. And those pieces of information do have citations to back them up. GUtt01 (talk) 20:47, 26 February 2018 (UTC)
Discussion for Deletion, for articles covering each respective series of The Apprentice
editA discussion has begun over the deletion of articles covering each series of this programme. The general basis for this discussion is that the articles covering these series have "Too much detail for general-interest, especially notes", as stated by the nominator for their deletions. If you wish to add in your views, do so now. GUtt01 (talk) 16:16, 27 September 2018 (UTC)
- AFDs of this nature are frequently bundled. CHRISSYMAD ❯❯❯¯\_(ツ)_/¯ 16:17, 27 September 2018 (UTC)

Hatnote
editHi, Just a heads up I've removed the hatnote as I don't really see the point in having one, If the article was titled "The Apprentice" only then sure but as it's under "UK TV series" it seems all but pointless.... –Davey2010Talk 22:34, 16 December 2018 (UTC)
Article needs a trim?
editJust a thought as reading this, but goddamn is it long. As of today it's 3x the size of the American version on which it is based on, and in line with reducing the amount of verbosity in the series pages, I think there's a considerable amount of detail that could be trimmed off this page too.
What do people think? I'm not particularly inclined either way, but figured before I get the shears out and invoke needless edit wars I'd ask opinions. eeveeman (talk) 19:52, 19 December 2019 (UTC)
Request for Comment - Infobox in Series Overview Section
editFor some time, The Apprentice (British TV series) has used an Infobox to break down information on each series in terms of candidates involved, plus Winner & Runner-up. Unfortunately, I'm concerned over whether this arrangement is appropriate. Should it stay?
- YES
- NO
Please list reason for your answer below. GUtt01 (talk) 20:29, 25 December 2019 (UTC)
- Apologies GUtt01 I didn't realise there was a series overview table in the article so therefore I've removed the infoboxes as it adds nothing to the article. –Davey2010Talk 20:49, 25 December 2019 (UTC)
- @Davey2010: Quite alright. I felt that they were excessive to a point where there was hardly any reason to have them, considering all candidates are listed within each respective Series' article, as well as a "List of Candidates" article. GUtt01 (talk) 21:20, 25 December 2019 (UTC)
- Absolutely agree GUtt01, Thanks for originally removing them and again apologies for reveting you, Hope you have a lovely Crimbo and a very Happy New Year:), Many thanks, –Davey2010Talk 21:34, 25 December 2019 (UTC)
