My father Sardar Fauja Singh Thekedar also built most of Thapar Institute of Engg.( hostel B, C swimming pool, class 4 quarters, all roads, most of labs, many other parts of buildings in early 60's) and later I became alumni of this great Institite. i am so proud of my DAD and Thapar Institute. Mr Ahuja a close friend of my Dad did built the main building at the insitute. My deep regargds Karam chand Thapar, Narottam das ji , Dr ML Jain,, OP Gupta, VV Sastry, RBL Bedi, Mr. Juneja whom my dad was associated with while colloge was being bult in late 1950's , 60's.70's.

Any one from Patiala is very dear to me and I love patiala although I am miles and mile away form this town where my roots are. Baljinder saggu ( baljinder.saggu@us.schneider-electric.com)

I'm editing this page and adding some more info. I did my diploma from Thapar Polytechnic and my undergrad from Thapar University and thus was a student in the campus for 6 years.
