Similarity?
editThe new addition of the song's similarity to Jesus Loves Me seems to have an incorrect linked reference (no mention of the song at the link). That "Thank you..." has no overlap with either the melody or lyrics of "Jesus Loves Me" is, unfortunately, irrelevant since a source is claimed, but would be nice to read the source. Thanks. - The Jesus Loves Me page's infobox includes "Meter: 7.7.7.7 with refrain". Does 'Thank you...' copy this meter and timed-refrain? If not, then even if the new quote is accurate, should the article use it to imply that the two songs are actually so similar when they are not? I've listened to both and don't hear the similarity, although I haven't listened to all of the versions of "Jesus Loves Me" (that I know). Randy Kryn (talk) 00:29, 3 March 2020 (UTC)
- Hello Wherelovelives, you may have missed this. Please listen to both songs, you may change your mind about including the cite because of its inaccuracy (it seems to imply that there was a "borrowing" of the melody, which doesn't seem accurate. Randy Kryn (talk) 02:51, 4 March 2020 (UTC)
