One group [of scholars] suggests that the relation between Thamudic and Arabic is the same relation between Anglo-Saxon and English, while the majority group suggests that Thamudic language can be classified as "Proto-Arabic".
Could this be made more explicit? E.g., "One group believes that Thamudic is ancestral to Arabic, while the other believes that Arabic is descended from Thamudic." —Tamfang (talk) 21:05, 1 July 2016 (UTC)Reply
