The Swedish Wikipedia claims Taco Bell once operated a location in Piteå, with Global Compensation: Foundations and Perspectives (isbn 9780415775038) as source. Can anyone verify that claim (so we can add the country to our article)? CapnZapp (talk) 14:26, 7 July 2020 (UTC)
- Piteå is a small town in the rural north of Sweden with zero foreigners. It's just about the last place you would try opening a Taco Bell so I was intrigued. Turns out it was added by a vandalism only account and no online sources mention anything on the matter (Swedish or English). Very unlikely to be true and I removed it at the Swedish Wikipedia. --Trialpears (talk) 10:54, 10 July 2020 (UTC)

I was told the original chalupa sold in US was a restaurant in Sedona Az.
A place called "Chalupas" they were in the village of oak creek (Sedona). Taco Bell bought them, used the name???any history on this?

The discontinued menu item section needs to be changed to fit the new changes as of August 13th. Removed items are the Grilled Steak Soft Taco, 7-Layer Burrito, Nachos Supreme, Beefy Fritos Burrito, Spicy Tostada, Triple Layer Nachos, Triple Layer Nachos, Cheesy Fiesta Potatoes, Loaded Grillers (Cheesy Potato, Beefy Nacho), Chips & Dips, and Mini Skillet Bowl. Taco Bell closed in Colombia in 2018
I know that Taco Bell closed its four Bogota, Colombia locations in late 2018, but I can only find circumstantial evidence for this. Its Facebook page stopped getting updates in 2018 and the tacobellcolombia.com domain name started redirecting to generic error pages by January 2019. Although the existing citation to an archive.org version of the site can indicate this, I'd like to find hard proof of this closure in the form of a news article. Under Outside the United States/North America/Canada: remove ", due to apparent struggles with its restrictive language laws". The source is an established outlet but it cites no statement from the company to that effect and appears to be editorializing.
