- This is an artifact of edit warring over the dates 1906 and 1907. I'm changing the date back to 1906, and moving the statement about the "error" to a sourced footnote. The basis for 1906 is the Social Security Death Index, also anecdotally that he himself usually gave 1906. I think that's enough. The Social Security Death Index itself is available at geneology sites, but usually paywalled because of privacy concerns. (Our former cite for the lede was paywalled for that reason.)
