NPOV edit

The criticism section needs references, it is biased without references. -- ReyBrujo 01:48, 8 May 2006 (UTC)Reply

This may be difficult to include as many of the criticisms come from the fan community on forums and reviews, both of which are unlinkable for a few reasons; forums tend to have their topics wiped after inactivity and the reviews tend to be skeptical in terms of NPOV and maturity. Also the main site of which, I can refer to (www.gamefaqs.com) doesn't permit linking to the reviews per se although you can link to the sectional area of the site. I agree with the fact that it is the worst suikoden so far, But I disagree with the lack of connection with the series being just Ted (who has been around for hundreds of years). The sea travel is the worst feature, enough said. It is set further back in time then suikoden I, II, and III but still if you played suikoden tactics through you would have found that the kooluk dissolved and was annexed by the Scarlet Moon Empire (pre-suikoden I). As for the changes in the battle systems, magic, etc. I agree with you.

"Another part of the game that's been criticized is the length of the game. The game could easily be finished in less than 15 hours without guidance. This was also a break from the main series since Suikoden games tradionally has been fairly lengthy." I am sure that would be easy after beating the game several times. I have beat suikoden I in 9 hrs (with 108 stars) after beating it enough times. —Preceding unsigned comment added by Mccann 4444 (talkcontribs) 13:38, October 15, 2006

I think that the storyline isn't the most neutral article either. For one, the player is able to make decisions and does not necessarily have to do certain actions including but not limited to offering Troy a chance. —Preceding unsigned comment added by 121.6.85.77 (talkcontribs) 12:49, March 21, 2007

Gameplay edit

I rewrote the criticism section with more sourcing and such, and removed the cleanup tags. That said- there's no gameplay section here! I didn't actually, uh, play the game myself (only watched another person beat it and describe the plot so I could catch up), so somebody else will have to write that up.
