– I don't think the band is the WP:PRIMARYTOPIC, because it'd have to be more notable than everyone at Steadman (name) and that's simply not the case. -- Tavix (talk) 01:50, 15 September 2015 (UTC)Reply

  • But no one listed at Steadman (name) is called simply "Steadman". There don't appear to be any other entities with articles at Wikipedia called "Steadman". See WP:PTM. —  AjaxSmack  02:41, 15 September 2015 (UTC)Reply
Steadman (name) is a WP:SIA about the name. I'm saying that the name article is just as prominent (or more prominent) than the band, which is why the DAB should be at "Steadman." That has nothing to do with partial title matches. -- Tavix (talk) 03:08, 15 September 2015 (UTC)Reply
Let me put it another way. Who do you propose is going to search for any of the people at the Steadman (name) article with simply "Steadman" and is that number significant enough to outweigh users seeking the band? The name "article" is not even an article; it's two uncited sentences.  AjaxSmack  04:18, 15 September 2015 (UTC)Reply
Who do you propose is going to search for a barely notable British indie rock band from over a decade ago that had no label, no charting material, or anything else that would give them any ounce of prominence? It works both ways. -- Tavix (talk) 04:41, 15 September 2015 (UTC)Reply
I don't know and I didn't oppose the move. I was just wondering if there was any reason for the move other than "I don't think..."  AjaxSmack  21:35, 15 September 2015 (UTC)Reply
