Fair use rationale for Image:Starwars 2.png edit

Image:Starwars 2.png is being used on this article. I notice the image page specifies that the image is being used under fair use but there is no explanation or rationale as to why its use in this Wikipedia article constitutes fair use. In addition to the boilerplate fair use template, you must also write out on the image description page a specific explanation or rationale for why using this image in each article is consistent with fair use.

Please go to the image description page and edit it to include a fair use rationale. Using one of the templates at Wikipedia:Fair use rationale guideline is an easy way to insure that your image is in compliance with Wikipedia policy, but remember that you must complete the template. Do not simply insert a blank template on an image page.

If there is other other fair use media, consider checking that you have specified the fair use rationale on the other images used on this page. Note that any fair use images uploaded after 4 May, 2006, and lacking such an explanation will be deleted one week after they have been uploaded, as described on criteria for speedy deletion. If you have any questions please ask them at the Media copyright questions page. Thank you.BetacommandBot 07:26, 6 June 2007 (UTC)Reply

Split edit

As the two games are so wildly different, I think they need separate articles. Rhindle The Red (talk) 00:41, 27 November 2007 (UTC)Reply

The Japanese Famicom game released by Namco and JVC's NES game are two completely different games. Putting them in the same article like this only causes confusion. Game Trailers just posted an episode of their Star Wars video game retrospective that starts off by detailing how distinct the two games are from one another. These articles should be split.--75.92.186.211 (talk) 17:19, 30 March 2008 (UTC)Reply
I agree on the split, the Namco game page was already created, I added disambiguity links on both and removed the Namco game info from this page. Next step should be renaming this page and editing the affected links.Mickea (talk) 13:28, 16 April 2009 (UTC)Reply

Plot edit

I think there are some inaccuracies in the plot section. The play doesn't "have to" rescue R2 and meet Kenobi in the cave, one can beat the game without it. Rescuing Leia on the death star is also optional and not "required." Chaptagai (talk) 00:57, 25 December 2017 (UTC)Reply
