Daughter claimed to be psychic? edit

According to Columba Krebs, his daughter (born 1902) claimed to be psychic from age 15. Made me wonder what a debunker like Krebs thought of that. Would be great to find a source that explores that. Also, that article would imply that Marjorie Main was Krebs' second wife, after Anna Frantz, which should be reflected here once we can confirm it with a source. --Krelnik (talk) 18:41, 17 May 2016 (UTC)Reply

That is very interesting. He was an early skeptic, it seems he was a former minister who gave that position up for the study of psychology.

"Dr. Stanley Lefevre Krebs, or “Doctor,” as Marjorie would call him, was a former minister and devoted lecturer on psychology. He spent most of his life touring the country, and the world, lecturing people about the mind and how it works. He was ahead of his time in his thinking, and for that reason he was considered somewhat of an oddball." (Michelle Vogel. (2011). Marjorie Main: The Life and Films of Hollywood's "Ma Kettle". p. 107)

"After marrying the twenty-six-year older former minister, lecturer, and doctor of psychology, Stanley LeFevre Krebs, on November 2, 1921. Main quit the stage to act as his secretary. When Krebs retired from the lecture circuit a few years later, Main returned to the theatre." (Axel Nissen. (2011). Actresses of a Certain Character: Forty Familiar Hollywood Faces from the Thirties to the Fifties. p. 111)

And this source has the most detail [1]
