The article on stances should link to the other stance articles ("stance(taekwondo)" and "wushu stances"), perhaps on a See Also section. Omicr0n7d3n9 (talk) 23:42, 17 May 2010 (UTC)Reply

Stances (positioning)Fighting stance — Also request move to Fighting stance—Preceding unsigned comment added by 91.176.216.134 (talkcontribs) 10:57, 15 July 2009 (UTC)Reply

  • Would be a more meaningful disambiguation - all stances are "positioning" in some general sense, but this article is particularly about the martial arts sense. Another alternative (and redirect candidate) would be Stance (martial arts). Knepflerle (talk) 18:43, 16 July 2009 (UTC)Reply
  • The current title is ugghhh. It shouldn't be in the plural and it doesn't make any sense as User:Knepflerle points out. Stance (martial arts) makes sense in that it narrows the subject from fighting stance which could refer to other non-martial "art" fighting stances. — AjaxSmack 15:46, 18 July 2009 (UTC)Reply
  • Move to either Stance (which is currently a dicdef) or Stance (martial arts). The current name isn't very recognizable at all, and "stance" is more common usage than "fighting stance". Jafeluv (talk) 08:00, 21 July 2009 (UTC)Reply
