St. Peter's Basilica edit

The previous distinction between a Cathedral and a Basilica is implicit in the name and it can be explained in the related articles. For the most holy place of the Roman Catholic Church is more relevant to say "the highest and most extended holy place of the Roman Catholic Church", as it the established by the norms on the sacred architecture which are still in force into the whole ecumene of the Roman Catholic Church. It is still the largest Church in the world (sourced into the WP article List of largest church buildings).
The Algeri's moschea is 234 meters high, while the St Peter's Basilica is 137 meters (source: [1]). Rome hosts the highest Italian Islamic mosque whose website affirms its construction had a minaret less high than that of St Peter's Basilica so as not to violate the Roman Catholic tradition (source: [2]) and its sacred architecture's rules. The real height of the Moque of Rome was debated for long time ([3], [4], [5], [6]).
