editI think that St. John the Baptist Cathedral should be merged with Saint John the Baptist Catholic Church, which is a list I've started of churches that are named after Saint John the Baptist before realizing that there was this list of Cathedrals named after him. There are other churches aside from Cathedrals that have been named after the man, and instead of having two lists I think it'd be better to have one comprehensive list that has churches - including Cathedrals - named after the man. Thoughts?

I am sorry, but the Saint John the Baptist Catholic Church is a ridiculous title and article, because nobody will ever be looking for an article under such a title. There shoud be lists for the REAL names of the St. John churches (incl. this one), that's all. Juro 02:41, 27 April 2006 (UTC)
- There are churches named after Saint John the Baptist, and such churches are known by the full title, that being Saint John the Baptist. These churches are just as real as churches named Saint John after John the Apostle. And how would anyone know what other users would be looking for? I'm sorry, but I think it is presumptous to assume that other users would or would not look for a certain article title.

- If there are churches with exactly this name (incl. the word "catholic"?) the of course we should keep this article and a "See also" section to other similar real names. And the statement that we cannot have non-real titles (because I thought St. John the Baptist Catholic Church was not a real name) for anything that comes to someone's mind should be quite obvious, I have not assumed anything.
