SEZ is an arrangement within mainland China. — Instantnood 06:20, Mar 29, 2005 (UTC)
The sovereign State is the PRC. SEZ is an economic arrangement within mainland China, as an economy. — Instantnood 07:55, Mar 29, 2005 (UTC)

do these even exist

edit

I believe that starting in 2008 or 2009 china scrapped its existing corporate tax system including the 15% special rate for the economic zones and has gone to a 25% rate for everyone.Peppermintschnapps (talk) 19:12, 30 September 2009 (UTC)Reply

Why is "List of SEZs" listed twice?

edit

There is both a table and also a short section both labeled "List of SEZs", are these both needed? Is it possible to combine the two into one section or perhaps rename the sections? —Preceding unsigned comment added by 98.127.254.198 (talk) 11:29, 11 July 2010 (UTC)Reply

kashgar

edit

why is there no mention of kashgar (added as SEZ may 2010)? —Preceding unsigned comment added by 203.126.210.99 (talk) 07:50, 22 October 2010 (UTC)Reply

Repetition in introduction

edit

"Special Economic Zones of the People's Republic of China (SEZs) are special economic zones located in mainland China." Also, this may not be accurate as Hainan is an island; i.e. not mainland China. If you are saying 'mainland China' in order to imply that Taiwan is the real China, it might be better to say PRC instead. — Preceding unsigned comment added by 92.9.7.31 (talk) 09:31, 1 March 2012 (UTC)Reply

The China Price

edit

PROPOSE DELETION: What has the "China Price" section got to do with anything?

Sounds like someone trying to plug a book Jaredjeya (talk) 22:18, 27 March 2014 (UTC)Reply
