Spain Attempts to Forfeit All Rights to the Treasure
editThe owner of the treasure showed up in Spain to reclaim his possessions but Spain denied owning the treasure. Delays by Spanish authorities indicate that they wish to forfeit all rights. — Preceding unsigned comment added by 186.22.68.67 (talk) 00:40, 28 February 2012 (UTC)

Missing Information
editYou may consider a good idea to add some information to the count of losses in the sinking of the frigate. Maybe the fact of the presence of women and children in all the ships, as well as the Mercedes. The ship was sunk with the family of Diego de Alvear and Ponce de Leon, second commander of the squadron, family consisting of its wife and seven children. For example. — Preceding unsigned comment added by Luis Castro García (talk • contribs) 02:56, 14 June 2019 (UTC)
Tv series La Fortuna
editPerhaps there should be a mention and reference to the comic book depicting this ship and the new TV series called La Fortuna based on the cartoon? Jcldude (talk) 21:17, 25 June 2023 (UTC)
