Removal of section entitled 'Antarctic exploration' edit

The section entitled 'Antarctic exploration' has been removed as a review of the main article )i.e. SS Southern Cross (1886)) indicates this ship could not have served with the Melanesian Mission (i.e. built 1886, lost 1914). Cowdy001 (talk) 07:03, 21 February 2013 (UTC)Reply

Career after the Melanesian Mission edit

The following reference has been removed from the 'Reference' section as it briefly mentions that Southern Cross No.4 was used for missionary work - Taylor, C. (1998). The Brothers Taylor, A Tasmanian Maritime Historyp (Published in the Roebuck Series, No. 50). Canberra: Navarine Publishing. ISBN 0-9586561-4-2. The reference was been reviewed at a reference library at lunch time today & will be cited in respect to the article about Southern Cross No.4 (i.e. Southern Cross (1891 Melanesian Mission ship).Cowdy001 (talk) 04:03, 22 February 2013 (UTC)Reply
