It's an Irish film: http://www.rte.ie/arts/2006/0131/oscar.html Pockets23 00:10, 7 March 2006 (UTC)Reply

Ok, but since it also won awards as a British film, I enter both countries, as is usually done in such cases. Hoverfish Talk 09:42, 9 March 2007 (UTC)Reply

The film is a British & Irish co-production, i.e. it was co-financed and co-produced by two countries (Film Four & Missing in Action Films from the UK and The Irish Film Board & Fantastic Films from Ireland). This is very common in the film industry. The correct form is to describe the film as a "Irish / British film" or "British / Irish film" depending on who the majority producing partner was. For lack of such information at present, I have amended to "Irish / British" - source: http://film.britishcouncil.org/six-shooter A bright cold day in april (talk) 14:12, 8 September 2016 (UTC)Reply
