text has been copied from a newspaper article
editI came across this page and started fixing up the formatting and references and found that the text was a direct copy of a newspaper article. Should this page be removed? Stellar 02:32, 25 August 2007 (UTC)
The title of the page.
editThe title of this page should read "Shaaban bin Robert".
Swahili and Islam
editIn the Swahili version, as well as in external literature, I found that Shaaban R., being of Yao origin, called himself consistently a "Swahili" in the sense of ethnicity, at a time when Swahili was still considered mostly an auxiliary language. Are there any sources whether this has to to with his Islamic creed - and, is it known how he came to adopt Islam?
