Very poor writing

"Film historian Roberto Curti also suggested the reliability of the book noting any lack of evidence at the book existing."

I've a good idea of what that was meant to say in English, but guessing isn't good enough. Maybe someone connected with the original contribution would like to clarify it. Harfarhs (talk) 00:17, 11 February 2019 (UTC)Reply

Tried to clean up, how's it looking now @Harfarhs:? Andrzejbanas (talk) 02:27, 11 February 2019 (UTC)Reply
Thanks very much for that! It's getting there, but the first half of the sentence still doesn't make sense. Perhaps "..Curti doubts that the story is an adaptation of a novel" would work, but of course I don't have the source available to me for checking. Harfarhs (talk) 03:06, 11 February 2019 (UTC)Reply
