Re: Goodbye Cruel World sounding like this - not especially, the bass line is typical of Waters' style, and the track is very much more close to Careful with That Axe, Eugene in my opinion. --Ritchie333 18:46, 17 September 2006 (UTC)
The only part that is "similar" is the intro, interlude and ending... the rest is a prety complex bass riff... I think the bit about Goodbye Vruel World should be taken out....

Emily? edit
I don't know how to reference it in the article, but in a BBC Radio interview with Emily Young that I saw recently she gives the idea that 'Emily' is Sids creative side, his internal muse.
