Answer: Yes you are correct. In some publications he is also referred to as "Yehezkel Sasson", although reference to him under this name is technically incorrect. Please see this link from the Jewish Virtual Library as an example (third paragraph): "Iraqi Jews - The Jewish Virtual Library". Another example can be seen here at the Jewish Agency for Israel (under World Jewry and the Growth of the Yishuv): "The Haskala Movement - Jewish Agency for Israel".
