The logo in the article info box seems to be incorrect or at least not current as of October 2010. The Sanford Health-MeritCare logo can be viewed at http://south.sanfordhealth.org/_images/logo_siouxvalley.gif or http://sanfordhealth.org/Content/images/headerlogo.jpg. —Preceding unsigned comment added by 70.56.160.57 (talk) 19:35, 5 October 2010 (UTC)Reply

They also dropped MeritCare from their name and are back to just Sanford Health. There are a lot of issues that need to be addressed in this article. -- sdgjake (talk) 15:12, 6 October 2010 (UTC)Reply

Requested move

edit
The following discussion is an archived discussion of a requested move. Please do not modify it. Subsequent comments should be made in a new section on the talk page. No further edits should be made to this section.

The result of the move request was: Moved. In the process, I discovered that the article was originally at the requested title, and was cut-and-pasted to the longer one. I therefore merged the histories and reverted the cut-and-paste move, thereby restoring the short title. Under the circumstances, I consider it highly unlikely that the longer, awkward title was ever used by anyone as a "common name" for this entity. Sanford Health-MeritCareSanford Health — Company changed its name to Sanford Health in July 2010. Relisting, see below. Andrewa (talk) 12:01, 20 March 2011 (UTC) --HiMyNameIsFrancesca (talk) 12:23, 12 March 2011 (UTC)Reply

Please provide a source which confirms that the company changed its name. Thanks, Gatoclass (talk) 14:56, 12 March 2011 (UTC)Reply
This website confirms the name change: [1]. Additionally, on all three homepages in the "External links" section, the logo says Sanford Health. Wikky Horse (talk) 21:03, 12 March 2011 (UTC)Reply
Okay, that would seem to confirm it. Moving to support. Gatoclass (talk) 09:50, 13 March 2011 (UTC)Reply
Support. Let's just hope they don't change their name again in a few months. sdgjake (talk) 17:17, 14 March 2011 (UTC)Reply
Oppose. That's exactly why the policy is that we don't automatically follow every change of official name with a change of article title. If it can be shown that the common name has changed too, that's different, but no evidence has been offered that it has. Relisting to give some chance to provide this evidence, or alternatively to conclude that the common name hasn't changed, and so the artice title shouldn't change either.
