Is he of Middle Eastern ancestry, or is he just another black American who has somehow come under the bizarre impression that he is Arab (or Persian, hence "Remi"). —Preceding unsigned comment added by 96.237.59.92 (talk) 01:01, 9 December 2008 (UTC)
It's not noted in here, but he is African-American. He was born to two African-American parents who practiced Islam. That is how he got his name. Darius Sinclair (talk) 19:07, 11 December 2008 (UTC)
