There is a great image of this ship at http://usmaritimecommission.de/pictures.php?code=B0746a but I'm not sure on how to use images from the National archives when it has a copyright.Wikiinfomation (talk) 13:47, 4 December 2016 (UTC)Reply
Excellent picture of SS Lawton B. Evans! I can actually see the crew of Navy Seaman on their way to battle the Nazi's even though they don't know what they are in for yet. Shipresearch (talk) 22:49, 23 October 2017 (UTC)Reply

Kinda doubt this has much to with Jawjuh beyond the sponsors. Anmccaff (talk) 18:40, 2 March 2017 (UTC)Reply

This ship is on the list of ships built by ADDSCO seen here. There was only 2 companies in Georgia that built Liberty ships the Southeastern Shipbuilding Corporation and the J.A. Jones Construction Company and I can't find SS Lawton B. Evans on their list of Liberty ships built. It does appear to be funded by some people from Georgia just not built there.
