editRumana, Rummana, Rumanah, Rumaneh, Roummaneh, Rummaneh, Romane. Grid: 179/244. Needs care to distinguish from Rummanah (169/214). Hutteroth p188 (not p159). Census: 1922 tab XI, 1931 p75, 1945 p63. Guerin Gal I, p365. Don't see in Dauphin (p743 is wrong one). SWP I, pp363,414. Robinson 1852, pp109–110. Zerotalk 10:09, 24 August 2012 (UTC)
- Ok, which book by Edward Robinson? And should we make the 1922-cencus more specific? Eg by noting which sub-district it is? And Dauphin (p743) is Rummanah. Cheers, Huldra (talk) 23:57, 26 August 2012 (UTC)
- "Later Biblical researches and in the adjacent regions. A journal of travels in the year 1852." by "Robinson, Smith, and others". About 1922 sub-districts: sure, why not? Btw, a huge number of articles have "district" incorrectly when they should say "sub-district". See Districts of Mandatory Palestine. Zerotalk 01:34, 27 August 2012 (UTC)
- Ok, not too much in Robinson, though. Btw, do you know how to format the ref so that "sub-district" is part of the ref.? Formatting is not my strong point, to put it nicely. And Khalidi use "district" when it should have been "sub-district": the 1948 -villages hence use that notation. Huldra (talk) 06:15, 27 August 2012 (UTC)
- I edited the infobox. Please see Template talk:Infobox former Arab villages in Palestine/doc about Khalidi. Zerotalk 09:54, 27 August 2012 (UTC)
