editI feel that RSUA and its President should be in two separate articles. Over time these will naturally expand, with the President article listing significant features of each presidency, and the RSUA article including more general information. —The preceding unsigned comment was added by 83.141.100.175 (talk • contribs) 08:51, 27 May 2006 (UTC)
Proposed merge of RSUA Silver Medal into Royal Society of Ulster Architects
editDoes not warrant its' own article. Emir of Wikipedia (talk) 21:24, 2 November 2020 (UTC)
- Support merge/redirect - a search turned up no significant RS coverage of this award.Dialectric (talk) 17:58, 3 November 2020 (UTC)
- I have redirected RSUA Silver Medal to this article. It was a brief stub with no referenced content or refs to merge.Dialectric (talk) 14:13, 25 November 2020 (UTC)
Proposed merge of Perspective Magazine into Royal Society of Ulster Architects
editVery similar to the proposed "medal" merger above, I propose to merge/redirect Perspective Magazine (the journal of the subject org) into this article (on the subject org). I propose this because pretty much every WP:MERGEREASON applies. In terms of content, the magazine article effectively verbatim duplicates the same content we find here. In terms of context, it's not really possible to separate the journal and the org. And, in terms of the length of the text, the magazine article has effectively contained the same 70 words since it was created (almost 17 years ago) and would be difficult to expand without further overlapping with the org that produces/publishes it. WP:PRODUCT and related guidelines would also seem to apply. Guliolopez (talk) 20:52, 7 February 2023 (UTC)
- Resolved OK. As it has been some time since my note above, and as no other thoughts/suggestions have been raised, I've gone ahead with the proposed merge and related redirect. As noted, the content in the target section has barely changed (other than to add the missing refs). As the section and sub-topic article were near identical (with WP:OVERLAPing context and largely WP:DUP content). Guliolopez (talk) 15:15, 17 February 2023 (UTC)
