Is the Otto Beit prize for the best work of sculpture the same as the Otto Beit Medal?

Is the Prize for the best work of sculpture exhibited in London the same as the Otto Beit Medal? It was funded by Sir Otto Beit and awarded by the RBS. [3] Verbcatcher (talk) 00:51, 10 February 2014 (UTC)

Otto Beit Medal

The article said that "RBS awarded the Otto Beit Medal for excellence in architecture", but my limited research indicates that this medal was "for sculpture". A sculpture medal is more likely for a society of sculptors; all the winners I have followed-up are scupltors, not architects; and reliable sources refer to an Otto Beit medal for scultpure, including:

• "From out notebook: Michael Clark's "Assumption"". The Tablet. 26 Nov 1960.
• "A. John Poole: Sculptor, letter-cutter and restorer whose love of architecture informed his monumental works". The Independent. 16 Nov 2009.

I don't have a good source for the formal name of the medal, so I have changed it to simply the "Otto Beit medal". Verbcatcher (talk) 11:59, 27 July 2015 (UTC)

Needs updating

Under the heading "Structure: Patronage", it states "The society has received Royal Patronage since 1911 and Her Majesty, Queen Elizabeth II is the society's current Patron." First, Since Elizabeth died in 2022, this is no longer accurate. Second, adding "Her (or his) Majesty" is neither required nor standard in an encyclopedic context.
