The article misses the most important plot point: the killer was a sexual deviant who killed the American woman because she was a deviant, too. The 2 characters were like Yin and Yang, or like matter and antimatter, who cancelled each other out. 84.128.168.3 (talk) 16:15, 11 April 2015 (UTC)

"molested" edit
This is a purely American English euphemism for "raped" - in other forms of English it has no specific sexual connotation (for instance, when the unpopular Greek queen Frederica visited London in the early 1960s and was booed and jostled by protesting crowds, this was described as "molestation", and there was certainly no question of sexual violence). Since the character in the book is indeed raped, and since Wikipedia is not just an American-English medium, I feel "molested" should be replaced by "raped". Other American English euphemisms such as "passed away" (or nowadays simply "passed") for "died" also have no place on Wikipedia - a spade should be called a spade, otherwise we don't know what we're talking about.89.212.50.177 (talk) 16:26, 7 January 2019 (UTC)
